Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Shreemadbhagvadgita published under the package name in.krishna.gitaji.
1. What the app does
Shreemadbhagvadgita is an offline reading app that lets users browse Bhagavad Gita chapters and verses, continue from the last read position, and receive daily random shloka notifications.
2. Data collection
This app is designed to work offline and does not require account creation, login, or server connectivity for its core features.
The app does not intentionally collect, transmit, or sell personal information to the developer or third parties.
3. Device storage and local data
The app stores limited data on the user’s device only, such as:
Reading progress, notification scheduling state, and app preferences.
This local data remains on the device unless the user clears app data or uninstalls the app.
4. Notifications
If the user grants notification permission, the app schedules three local notifications per day on the device. These notifications are generated locally from bundled app content and are not sent from a remote server.
5. Data sharing
The app does not share personal information with third parties.
6. Data security
Because the app is primarily offline and keeps its functional data locally on the device, exposure is minimized. However, users should keep their device secure using normal device-level protections.
7. Children
The app contains spiritual and educational reading content and is not directed toward collecting personal data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated in future releases. Any updated version should be published at the same privacy policy URL used in Google Play Console.
